World Tobacco Day

A local organization is getting the word out about the dangers of tobacco use with the help of a $2,000 grant.

It was popcorn and soda for everyone at Spectra Care's tobacco prevention slide show. The show featured Hollywood stars who've died with tobacco related diseases.

The grant will fund tobacco free slide advertisements throughout the year.

Spectra Care representatives say it's a great idea because they can reach people of all ages.
