Zion Chapel School Renovations

A multi-million dollar facelift is in progress to bring a 1920-era school into the 21st century.

Several new construction projects are underway at Zion Chapel School.

The largest undertaking is building 10 new elementary classrooms.

Verna Mozzo currently teaches in a portable classroom. She looks forward to a permanent structure.

"I think when we have bigger room and new rooms. We’ll be able to do more activities that we can't do now; the biggest thing is the room."

The $1.8 million project is expected to be completed by the start of the 2007 school calendar.
