SPRING HILL, Fla. (AP) - Less than a dozen students had minor
injuries from this morning's school bus crash in Spring Hill.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says the students had cut lips and bruises to the neck and back pain.
A total of 30 students were on the bus when it hit a car in front of Mary Giella Elementary School. The other car slammed head-on into the bus.
The driver of the car was airlifted to the hospital. Details about the extent of her injuries have not been released.
The bus driver and an assistant driver were also taken to the hospital. A sheriff's office statement says their injuries are not serious.
