EMA Internet

Internet

The Alabama Emergency Management Agency is using the Internet to make available information about public safety and disaster preparedness.

The EMA will be providing real-time updates from a variety of sources including information from the agency's headquarters in Clanton. For example, the Web site sports an interactive disaster map showing each county's disaster declaration status and recovery efforts.

There's even a site for children to help youngsters learn how to deal with natural or man-made emergency situations.
