In Andalusia, a man facing capital murder charges is under guard 24/7 at the Covington County jail.
On Monday jury selection will get underway in the Oscar Roy Doster murder trial.
Following his escape in November 2002 Doster allegedly shot and killed Gantt resident Paul Lemaster.
If convicted the state is expected to ask that Doster get the death penalty.
While in lock-up, jail officials say Doster will be under constant guard.
"The folks shouldn't have to be concerted of us letting him out because we are going to do what we can to make sure that he stays in eyesight of us. No he will not get away and out of this jail,” said Wilbur Mitchell of Covington Co. Jail Administrator
This trial will not involve Doster's March, 2005 escape in which he reportedly killed a Texas man.
