Some Dothan residents need your help to run a soup kitchen.
Thursday, Mama Tina's Mission House held its ribbon cutting. It is located across from Kenny Park in Dothan.
The soup kitchen's founders say the idea came from Mama Tina's son who is a former drug addict who wants to give back to the community.
Organizers plan to use the house to not only provide food but also to meet other basic needs.
“It's not just for food, it's for clothing, education. It's a poverty stricken area,” said Tina Glasgow.
If you would like to contribute to the mission house or are in need of help call 671-2282.
