MARIANNA, Fla. (AP) - A Marianna woman will spend 30 years
behind bars for a vehicle crash that killed a five-year-old boy.
34 year-old Layura Sellers was convicted of aggravated
manslaughter of a child, DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
Authorities say Sellers was driving about 70 miles-per-hour when
she crashed her van in January 2005.
Reports say Sellers' son and the five-year-old boy were sitting
in the front seat of the van, without seatbelts, at the time of the
Prosecutors say there's no solid evidence that Sellers' blood
alcohol level was above the legal limit.
However, she admits she had two beers before the crash.
