Alabama's Tax Plan

Coffee County Revenue Commissioner Ronnie Burns says the governor's tax proposal will be costly, especially true for residential and business owners.

Burns believes it will cause property taxes to skyrocket if approved in its entirety.

He says some people could be paying thousands of dollars more each year.

At this time, Alabama is ranked 44th as far as tax base is concerned.
