Alabama's second smallest school district received nearly perfect grades under the federal government's No Child Left Behind Act rankings.
Elba City School Superintendent Danny Weeks says the numbers look great and he credits the students, faculty and administrators for it.
Elba Elementary and High School both met 100 percent of 17 different requirements.
That includes a 100 percent senior graduation rate last June.
"100 percent of our high school seniors last year pass the new Alabama High School Graduation Exam. We’re quite proud of the results," said Weeks.
Weeks says that just four years ago, the State Department Of Education recommended Elba be combined with a nearby school district as a cost-saving measure.
