Henry County Sheriff's deputies say around 6 p.m, they received a call from Fort Gaines, Georgia police asking for help in a high speed chase.

Police reportedly tried to pull over the suspects for a traffic violation.

When the vehicle wrecked, one of the suspects fled into a wooded area.

"We think he's probably living in that area, is the reason he came back to that area, he's not dangerous it was just, he ran because he was in possession of the drugs, he's not known to be armed or dangerous,” says Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox.

The other suspect was arrested and taken back to Fort Gaines to face other charges there.
