Midland City continues the clean up from Tuesday night's severe weather.
Officials say the town was hit hard harder than they have seen in a while.
Many trees, power lines and debris was scattered over the roads last night from Midland City to west of Pinker.
A lot of people will also have to make repairs to their homes as trees damaged some houses and vehicles.
Officials reported winds reaching hurricane strength around 7 p.m. last night.
“The clean-up crew is going slowly but we are getting it done. The city and town crews are out, and everybody's working together to get this back,” Chief Dexter Hammond of Midland City Police.
There were no serious injuries reported in Dale County from the storms.
