MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Construction workers in Mobile made a grisly discovery. They found a stillborn human fetus at a work site near Magnolia Grove golf course.
Authorities said the fetus, about six months old, was found yesterday about 4:30 p-m near a portable toilet. A state medical examiner said the remains are those of a boy who was born dead due to a miscarriage.
A Mobile County prosecutor criticized the way the mother disposed of the fetus, but said she will not face criminal charges. A police spokesman said officers are trying to find the woman to determine her well-being
