A long-awaited construction project at the Geneva Municipal Airport is in limbo.
Buck Williams has been airport manager since 1968.
This week the Geneva city council opened several bids to construct some much needed t-hangers at the 50-year-old facility.
But the bids far exceeded the money awarded to the city through a grant.
Williams says without t-hangers for aircraft owners to keep their planes inside. He believes the facility has lost potential business to nearby airports.
The Geneva city council is expected to discuss soon. Its options of trying to get the t-hangers constructed.
