Kinston's new police chief says southwest Coffee County is a great place to raise a family.
Harold Frost was recently appointed by the Kinston town council to operate the city's department.
Chief Frost previously worked with several other law enforcement agencies mainly in Barbour County.
As a single parent, he was most impressed with the people and the Coffee County school district.
“Spend time in the community, as long as it’s been quiet like it has. It’s got time to support the town counsel and the mayor,” said Chief Frost.
Before assuming the role of chief in Kinston, Frost was with the Clio Police Department.
