Several members of the Enterprise National Guard unit took part in a community led effort to re-paint the century-old train trestle above Main Street.
More than two dozen soldiers from B-Company took part in the project.
Several B-company members are presently serving in Iraq and many of Monday's volunteers spent time in the war zone.
These men and women wanted to help with the overall look of Enterprise.
"We're giving back to the community as part of our community project. The city of Enterprise has always supported us, and we are giving back today," said CPT Jeff Grantham of National Guard
This is the first time the train overpass has been painted in 50-years.
