Georgia's four-day sales tax holiday begins Thursday just in time for back-to-school shopping.
Items that are tax free include:
School supplies up to $20, such as pencils, notebooks, paper, book bags, calculators and dictionaries.
Clothing and footwear up to $100.
Personal computers and accessories up to $1,500.
Energy Star qualified merchandise up to 15-hundred dollars, including windows, doors, dishwashers, clothes washers, air conditioners, ceiling fans and fluorescent light bulbs.
Alabama will join in on the sales tax holiday bandwagon this weekend August 4th through Sunday August 6th.
