Enterprise Financial Report

These may be economic hard times statewide, but you would never know it in the city of Enterprise.

Enterprise City Clerk Steven Hicks says the numbers are looking very good.

Hicks presented the mid-year financial report to the city council this week.

In just over two years, the cash reserve has gone from $800,000 to more than $3 million.

In addition, the city's sales tax collection is up four-percent.

Mayor Tim Alford and the council credit a close working relationship, with creating a good business environment in the City of Progress.
