Another automotive supplier, the 11th so far, has selected a site in south-central Alabama.

The Birmingham News reports today Hyundai Hysco Company will construct a 170,000-square-foot plant in Greenville. Company officials said they expect to hire at least 100 workers.

Hysco, based in Korea, will coil and weld metal sheets to be stamped into automotive parts for the $1 billion Hyundai plant under construction in Montgomery.

This is the second Hyundai supplier to locate in the Butler County town, last month Hwashin Company said it would build a $70 million manufacturing plant, creating 400 new jobs.

Industrial announcements are planned this afternoon at 1 p.m. in Montgomery and 4 p.m. in Greenville.
