Abbeville Police Find Marijuana and Cocaine in Traffic Stop

Three people are arrested in Abbeville during a routine traffic stop.

21-year-old Christopher Demetrius Lampkin of Abbeville was taken into custody when authorities reportedly found marijuana and cocaine in his vehicle.

Lampkin is charged with a felonly count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Also arrested at the scene was a 17-year-old male juvenile and 21-year-old Cotina Marie Lampkin also of Abbeville.

Both were charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing governmental operations.

Christopher and Cotina Lampkin were released on bonds totaling $3,500.

The juvenile was placed in the southeast Alabama diversion center.
