Dothan police say they have one of two men responsible for a string of armed robberies in the Wiregrass in custody, but the second suspect is still on the loose.
Police caught 18-year-old Davion Reshad Cooper after a short chase yesterday and immediately began questioning him.
Inside a car abandoned after the chase, police found evidence they linked to recent robberies including a shot gun, black clothes, and new shoes.
The second suspect 31-year-old Joe Ben Conley got away.
He managed to elude police following the chase.
Investigators think Conley and Cooper are responsible for a number of holdups throughout the wiregrass dating back to January.
