Sex Offender Found With Missing Teens in Florida

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Daytona Beach police say a registered
sex offender on South Carolina's Ten Most Wanted list was found
today with five missing teens in a hotel.

18-year-old Allen Lee Biddix was convicted as a juvenile in 2002 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor age 11 or younger.

The U.S Marshals Service says Biddix left Marion County, South Carolina around July 17th with three girls and two boys. The girls are 13, 14 and 15. Both boys are 15.

Police are investigating whether the six were involved in several burglaries.

Police in South Carolina have issued warrants charging Biddix with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He also is charged under a federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
