Motel Body Update

Police say a Dothan woman murdered in a motel room had been dead less than seven hours when her body was found.

Forty-year-old Debra Wilson was last seen alive about 4 a.m. Saturday.

A housekeeper discovered her body around 11 a.m.

Police say Wilson was beaten to death. Occupants in the rooms on either side of Wilson's told investigators they heard nothing unusual the night of the killing. A murder weapon has not been found.

And police are trying to trace Wilson's activities Friday night and Saturday morning.

They're especially interested in who may have been seen with her in the hours before she was killed.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to Wilson's killer. Investigators say all callers will remain anonymous.

The number to call for Crimestoppers is 793-7000.
