Officials in three cities across Jackson County will be getting a total of 1-million dollars for park improvements.
The money will come from the Florida Recreation Development Assistance program.
It will help complete Cottondale's Environmental Park.
It will also be used for a playground, bike trail, soccer fields and lighted tennis courts.
The state budget has a total of 31-million dollars earmarked for city parks across Florida.
