Two men are in custody for the armed robbery of Check and Go on Ross Clark Circle. Authorities are now investigating to see if they are responsible for other robberies in the area.
On Saturday, police responded to a robbery at this Cash and Go on Ross Clark Circle. The clerk says two men entered the business and demanded money. Police were called and shortly after made an arrest.
"Inside the vehicle was evidence linking them to the two robberies," said Lt. Tommy Martin of Dothan Police Dept
Police also believe the suspects Lino Andrews and Cordall Poke are responsible for robbing Check into Cash as well as Speedy Cash on South Oates earlier this month.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine if the two suspects are linked to other robberies in the area.
"Right now we are presenting photo lineups to see if we can get an ID from any of the victims," said Lt. Martin.
Dothan police have been working this month to make an arrest in these robberies and are glad to see their efforts paying off.
"It feels good and we appreciate the publics help."
Police won't release mug shots of the suspects until all lineups are complete, however they say they feel confident the men will be charged in all three robberies.
Both suspects face 1st degree robbery charges for Saturday’s Cash and Go robbery.
They could face additional robbery charges, depending on whether they are identified in a line-up.
We expect pictures of the two suspects to be released by authorities tomorrow.
If that's the case, we'll have those for you and more information as it becomes available to us.
