Today's the day Vice President Dick Cheney will make a stop in Dothan as part of a fundraiser for Governor Bob Riley.
Cheney is scheduled to arrive at the Dothan regional airport 3 o'clock this afternoon.
He's delivering remarks at the Riley Fundraiser at five.
Cheney will leave Dothan to head back to the nation's capital about 6:15 tonight.
Cheney’s stop in Dothan could pump more than $200,000 into Governor Riley’s re-election campaign.
Cheney is expected to appear at $5,000 per couple dinner at the home of Charles and Kay Nailen.
Organizers expect 40 to 50 couples to attend the event.
The fundraising dinner is in the home county of Riley’s Democratic opponent, Lieutenant Governor Lucy Baxley.
Cheney has visited Alabama 4 times since 2002 to attend fundraisers for the state's Republican congressmen.
We'll have live coverage of Cheney’s visit coming up for you tonight on news 4 at five and six.
