The city of Daleville is thinking about a restaurant smoking ordinance.
If the ordinance passes, business owners will have to decide if they want to become smoking or non smoking establishments.
Some Daleville businesses have already gone non smoking.
The Diner in Daleville went to non-smoking a year ago and owner Stephen Drown says they haven't looked back since.
They say business has actually increased with families and couples who never came in before.
“Since then we have more families and couples and of course our regular customers and they all say they are so glad we went non smoking,” said Drown
The smoking ordinance is on the city council agenda August 15.
