Alabama Primary Runoff

A light turnout is expected for Tuesday’s Primary Runoff Election in Alabama. In the Wiregrass, voters will elect candidates for sheriff and other county positions.

On the Republican ballot for Coffee County sheriff are Ricky Barnes and Dave Sutton.

In Henry County, on the Democratic ballot for sheriff, Dexter Grimsley takes on will Maddox.

The county is also voting for Circuit Clerk and County Commission District 4.

Dale County Republican voters will choose between Walter Ford and Wally Olson for sheriff and decide the winner in the County Commission District One race.

Tuesday is also the Georgia Primary.

Voters statewide will choose a candidate for Governor, Lieutenant Governor and State School Superintendent.

Early County residents will also vote for County Commissioner district one while in Seminole County the County School Board District 3 seats are being contested on the Democratic ticket.

And if that's not enough, qualifying began Monday and ends July 21 for the Primary election in Florida.
