New Brockton Mayor Charles Cole says companies interested in demolishing the city's eyesores need to soon get their bids into city hall.
Under a state funded grant, there are more than a dozen old structures are scheduled to be torn down.
And under the grant's terms, the homeowner doesn't have to pay for the work.
Once the structures are torn down, the mayor says the next thing to go is old, rusting vehicles parked in yards and public right-of ways.
For property owners wishing to have an old home removed, they should contact the city clerk's office in New Brockton this week.
