People living in a New Brockton housing complex are lucky. Police say a man went on a shooting spree during an argument.
Investigators say Altorick Jones got into an argument with another man over money.
That's when police say the 27-year-old Jones pulled out a handgun and began firing down King Street in New Brockton.
Bullets went through doors and into apartments.
For one person, it was time to find cover.
Apartment complex resident Peggy Creech said, “It came very close to my house behind there. It hit another door up above me and went through his door. It's like you don't want to go outside anymore.”
No one was injured in the shooting.
Jones is behind bars at the Coffee County Jail. He's charged with aggravated assault and shooting a gun into a house.
