Dale County Community leaders met to discuss possibly to connecting water systems with its communities.
Leaders discussed the first part of the interconnecting back-up system.
They talked about funding a study to determine the specs on the project.
Cost for that study is expected to be around $5,000.
“It'll discuss an implementation strategy and an organizational strategy for how the system will be backed up, where water will come from, who should sell water to whom, how it would be metered and how that would work,” said Max Mobley of Polyengineering, Inc.
The price for the interconnection will be determined by the study.
