A missing Pike County boy is safe and back home Thursday morning.
Authorities say 14-year-old Khiry Cummings of Troy was taken from his home Tuesday night by his non-custodial mother.
They say the boy is both mute and deaf
An Amber Alert was issued for the teenager Wednesday afternoon, but was canceled last night after the boy was found in Pensacola, Florida.
Sheriff's deputies in Escambia County, Florida, arrested Mabel Cummings rouse, also of Troy, and charged her with interference of custody, which is a felony.
