Kent Buescher owns the Wild Adventures theme park in Valdosta, Georgia. He says he visited Cypress Gardens as a child, and now he wants to buy it.

One thing that's not yet clear is whether Buescher can actually buy Cypress Gardens. He says the owners have told him there are plans to turn the land into condos. But he also says Cypress Gardens president Bill Reynolds has named a price, and it's being studied.

Buescher says he's all set to spend $30 million in the first year to refurbish the Cypress Gardens site and bring in more rides. The park closed April 13 after years of declining attendance.
