A new commanding general has officially taken over the reigns at Fort Rucker.
Brigadier General EJ Sinclair handed the post flag to U.S Training and Doctrine Command General William Wallace who in turn presented it to Major General Virgil Packett.
This ends Sinclair’s 3 year command at the home of army aviation. Packett comes to Fort Rucker from Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
“This is the most patriotic community and we look forward to sharing that with them contribution, leadership that's what we're talking about,” said MG Packett.
The vice chief of staff of the army General Richard Cody attended Thursday’s change of command. He has worked with both Sinclair and Packett.
