Enterprise police arrested a convicted sex offender for not registering with local authorities on his whereabouts.
Authorities say Joshua Weeks told them he had been living with his parents on Mill Avenue for only a day, but police believe it was longer.
The 27-year-old had been living in Panama City before moving to Enterprise.
Under both Florida and Alabama law, a sex offender must give police his or her current address.
Weeks was charged several years ago with lewd and lascivious acts involving a minor. He has been released from the Coffee County jail under $5,000 bond.
