Dothan Fires

Firefighters responded to an alarm shortly before 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 400 Columbia Highway.

They found heavy smoke billowing from Money Express Pawn Shop and Rentsmart

Bystanders said the fire appeared to have started in a warehouse adjoining the rear of the businesses before spreading.

Four fire units responded and brought the flames under control in a matter of minutes.

Fire investigators are working to determine exactly how the blaze got started.
