An accident on Interstate 85 outside of Montgomery took the life of a Wiregrass native and injured a Wiregrass woman.
State Troopers say 65 year old Larry Bell lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the back of a department of transportation vehicle that was parked on the side of the interstate.
Bell was not wearing his seat belt. He is originally from Midland City but was living in Montgomery.
A passenger in his vehicle, 50 year old Pamela Snook of Ozark and the driver of the DOT truck both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
