Dothan police continue to investigate a robbery and a break-in that happened this week. Authorities are still looking for suspects and Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.

The surveillance video shows Thursday’s early morning robbery at the hobo pantry convenience store at the corner of Denton Road and Westgate Parkway. Two men with handguns fled after packing a backpack with money and cigarettes.

Dothan Police Chief John Powell said, “They were black males that were involved. There is a possible link to another contact made by investigators out on the scene. They are described as one individual was 200 pounds, 5 foot 10. The second was 150 pounds at 5 foot 11.”

Luckily, no one was injured in the robbery. Police later found the suspects behind a nearby apartment. They weren't able to catch the robbers, but they were able to get the backpack with all of the stolen property inside.

Then, on Thursday evening a Dominos Pizza restaurant, located at East Main was broken into.

“We responded to an alarm at that location. Upon arrival the investigating officers found the glass had been knocked out of the window. The individual who was caught on video is described as a black male, slim build, dark complexion, wearing a tan hat with a small kangaroo symbol on it,” said Chief Powell.

If you have any information about either of these cases, contact the Crimestoppers at 334-793-7000.
