A former Houston County narcotics officer is looking at a long stretch in prison after pleading guilty to drug and weapons charges Monday in federal court.
27-year-old Michael Shawn Campbell was arrested last month on cocaine and firearms charges.
The U.S Attorney's Office says Campbell sold convicted felon Joshua Whigan a handgun and also supplied Whigan with cocaine for sale.
Campbell faces up to $2 million in fines and at least 5-years in federal prison.
Whigan has already pled guilty to un-related drug charges in federal court. Both men will be sentenced at a later date.
