They're not the materials you expect would pose a danger to you or your children, but according to the Consumer Protection Safety Commission a lot of everyday items kills dozens of Americans each year.
The commission announced the Recall Roundup of deadly products including old power tools, old extension cords, old hair dryers and even old jackets and sweat shirts that may have drawstrings around the neck or hood.
Older cribs have also been ruled as a safety hazard. The same goes for the loops at the end of window blind cords. Officials say they can strangle children.
