Troops from the 58th Fighter Squadron, out of Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest Florida, came home Thursday.
Family, friends and neighbors waved American flags as they welcomed the F-15 fighter pilots back home.
Both the pilots and their loved ones say they are happy to be reunited, but are surprised by how quickly this day arrived.
The 58th Fighter Squadron, which is part of the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin, protected coalition air and ground forces from attack by Iraqi aircraft.
