An historic building in the panhandle has a whole new look.
A special ribbon cutting ceremony was held in Marianna Thursday to celebrate the restoration of the exterior of the Russ House.
Several merchants pitched in and supplied the paint and much of the labor to do the job.
The Russ House was built in the 1890's and now serves as home to the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
The initial price estimate to do the job was $40,000.
But chamber officials say with the donations and free help, the entire project came in at less than $10,000.
