Police are still investigating a shooting in Dothan that left one man injured.
It happened in the 900 block of Cottonwood Road. Twenty-six-year-old Zackery Severson told police he was standing in the front yard of his home when two men drove up in a car.
He says one of the men got out and pulled a handgun, then opened fire. One of the bullets struck Severson in the hip.
He was taken to a Dothan hospital but police say the wound does not appear to be life threatening.
Investigators say Severson's description of the suspects and their car is vague. But, two spent rounds from a 9-millimeter pistol were recovered at the scene.
