The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division concluded a two week investigation with the arrest of two on drug charges.
Investigators attempted to apprehend Brandon Williams, DOB 9-25-81, yesterday, April 22, 2012, at a local apartment complex. Williams fled the parking lot in his vehicle, striking a Bay County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. Williams, who was out on bond for drug related charges from a case in January of 2012, was then taken into custody without further incident.
A search warrant was obtained for Williams’ residence and investigators found marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cocaine. While investigators were searching the home, Michele Fountain, DOB 10-17-80, who also lived in the apartment, returned home and was also taken into custody.
Williams and Fountain were both charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana less than twenty grams, Possession of Cocaine, and Child Neglect. Narcotics in the home were kept within easy reach of a child living in the home. Williams was also charged with Driving with a Suspended License and Reckless Driving.
