Jackson County Accident

The two-car accident happened at an intersection of Highway 231 and County Road 162 late Thursday afternoon.

Reportedly, the driver of the Toyota failed to yield the right of way and collided with a Chevrolet.

One passenger in the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger in the Toyota received only minor injuries.

Both the driver and passenger in the Chevrolet are listed in serious condition at Jackson County Hospital.
