Jerry Inman is behind bars in South Carolina, where he faces murder and other charges in the strangulation of a Clemson University student.
Inman was returned within hours of waiving extradition from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Other than answering basic questions, authorities say Inman had nothing to say as he was booked, fingerprinted and served the warrants.
However he apparently did plenty of talking to the Tennessee investigators who caught him.
The sheriff there expects Inman to be charged with a rape in that state and an attempted rape in Alabama.
He says those women identified him through his tattoos.
In the Clemson case, Inman allegedly used a bikini top to kill Tiffany Souers last month in her off-campus apartment.
