A Dothan teen has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for murdering his brother and trying to kill his parents.
Eighteen-year-old Anthony Paul Bryan was sentenced to 30 years for killing his 17-year-old brother with a shotgun as he was sleeping in 1999.
He also received two 20-year sentences for the attempted murders of his mother and father. Bryan was 14 when he committed the crime.
Before the judge handed down the sentences, Bryan's mother read a letter about how her son has changed and how she doesn't fear him.
The prosecuting attorney also played the 911 tape from the night of the murder. Bryan will be eligible for parole in 20 years.
