Two children are home safe Monday and a man is behind bars after keeping them out all night.
Thirty-seven-year-old Charles Jenkins is charged with contributing to the dependency of a minor.
Jenkins was supposed to be watching five-year-old Zanayah Kirkland, and three-year-old Zaveon Williams while their mother was working.
The mother reported them missing when Jenkins failed to pick her up from work.
Police searched throughout the night.
Jenkins returned home with the unharmed kids Monday morning.
“They are returned to their mother where they lived unharmed and after the investigation he is charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors,” said Dothan Police Chief John Powell
Jenkins remains in the Dothan City Jail on $1,000 bond and could face more charges.
