Governor Bob Riley visits Dothan and promises to work to help the Wiregrass area grow economically. Riley toured many cities in the Southeast today including Troy, Ozark, and Andalusia.
He was welcomed to Dothan with music and a crowd offering their support. Riley discussed his support of building an I-10 connector in Dothan to help increase economic development.
He also showed support for roadwork on the Ross Clark Circle to ease congestion; something he feels after talking with economic developers, will also help increase economic productivity in the Wiregrass.
Riley is confident that Alabama's Economy is looking stronger than ever.
Riley said, "Right now the Alabama economy is strong, unemployment is low, and we've just been cited as having the best economic society in the the nation."
Riley is running against Roy Moore in the Republican Primary on June 6th.
