There's only four days left until the June 6 primary elections.
News 4 introduce to the four republican candidates for the Dale County sheriff's race.
Walter ford has been part of the dale county sheriff's department for 29 years holding every office except sheriff.
He believes his experience as well as his involvement in the community will make him a good sheriff.
“It's about community to know what the community wants,” said Ford.
Wally Olson has been with the dale county sheriff's office for 10 years working his way up from dispatcher to jailer then deputy and now a narcotics investigator.
If he becomes sheriff he will focus on training and drugs.
“Young energetic bring new ideas to table serve people of Dale County,” said Olson.
Vince Mizell grew up in Dale County.
He went to work at the citrus county sheriff's department for 12 years; worked law enforcement in Gainesville Florida for 9 years then in Jackson County Florida recently.
He thinks he can bring change to the department.
“I’ve been narcotics supervisor...training...and negotiating team and worked with 4 different sheriff's departments…” said Mizell.
David Daniels has lived in Dale County all his life.
He works full time at his business "American Towing". Daniels plans to increase crime and drug prevention if he's elected sheriff.
“I plan to patrol 24 hours...implement radars in all cars...make a difference in Dale County,” said Daniels.

One of these republican candidates will go up against Democratic candidate Hal Cox in the November elections.
