Next week registered voters will take part in the 2006 Alabama primary.
Tuesday afternoon at the Coffee County Farm Center personnel with the probate judge's office conducted an inspection of all voting machines.
There are approximately 25,000 voters in Coffee County in some 34 precincts.
For the first time the county will use newly-purchased handicapped accessible voting equipment, which is now required by the federal government.
